FOCUSED, BESPOKE CAMERA CREWING & FILM KIT HIRE…

Roll Cameras is operated by Director of Photography and Lighting Director John Palmer (“JP”) and based on the edge of London. We are a collective of experienced DOP’s and Camera Operators with a particular speciality in:

  • Lighting Master Interviews for Documentary, Features, Corporate and Online Content.

  • Filming Commercials in a Studio.

  • Live streamed events/presentations on location.

  • Crew supervision.

  • Solo-filming as a one-person band for broadcast/documentary work.

With 20+ years of experience of filming with A-List celebrities, with CEO’s of Multinationals and everything in between and in dozens of countries around the world we make sure your shoot is professionally handled. Working with all kinds of camera kit and lighting set ups, as a collaborative we own several 4K and beyond 4K plus cameras with a particular focus on Sony & RED. Our kit inventory includes lighting by industry heavyweights Aputure, Astera, Litepanels, Aladdin, K5600, Godox, Rotolight and Litegear plus Grip Equipment by Matthews and Manfrotto so whatever your shoots needs we have the kit to make it look it’s best. We’ve recently invested in Bluetti Portable Power Boxes (AC180) to allow for adequate power needs whatever the location.

PROFESSIONAL, CREATIVE IMAGE MAKING…

Whether it’s filming on an Arri Cinema Camera or an Apple iPhone, working with us will mean you receive a complete experience of creativity, enthusiasm, technical knowledge and a hard-working professional attitude. Whatever kit we do not have in-house we can cross-hire from our Rental House suppliers, often at a better rate than shown by them publicly.

As a collective team we have experience shooting on most camera makes and lens combinations and will always use our vast experience on the day to ensure your film looks its very best. The nature of our work means we are very well travelled. We’ve filmed in over 50 countries and on every continent (except Antarctica) so if your project requires travel we are certainly prepared in that department and happy to facilitate the documentation to do so in this post-Brexit world.

We pride ourselves on being down-to-earth, friendly and reliable and you can approach us with any questions or concerns you have prior to your shoot or on the shoot day itself.

We’d love to talk about your project whether it’s Wet Hire hire (crew & kit) or Dry Hire (just kit or just crew) so please email us at hello@rollcameras.tv.
